Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], September 21 (ANI): Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao on Sunday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat’ campaign, emphasising that over eight thousand youth have participated to make Telangana a “drug-free state”.
The Bharatiya Janata Party chief said that Yuva Morcha also organised a marathon in view of PM Modi’s 75th birth anniversary.
While speaking to ANI, N Ramchander Rao said, “In view of the 75th birth anniversary of the Prime Minister, the BJP has organised Sewa Pakhwada for 15 days, and under it, ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat’ 3k marathon has been organised by the Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha. Over 8000 youngsters have registered and participated in this. PM Modi wants to motivate the youth of this country to make it a drug-free country and hence place it on top in terms of economy and others… To make Telangana a drug-free state, more than 8000 youth have participated in this program…”
Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party chief, along with Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, today flagged off ‘Namo Yuva Run 2025’ in Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Actor-model Milind Soman, along with Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, also flagged off ‘Namo Yuva Run’ at Coastal Road Promenade in Worli, Mumbai.
BJP MP and BJYM National President Tejasvi Surya also participated in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Milind Soman said, “I really like it when a run is organised and I try to participate in it. Today’s run is on the occasion of the 75th birthday of the Prime Minister – happening in 75 cities of the country in a single day… It is our and the Prime Minister’s dream to make India drug-free, fit and self-reliant…”
‘Namo Yuva Run’ is a flagship campaign by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), under which 100 simultaneous runs across the country, each engaging a minimum of 10,000 young participants, are being organised under the BJP’s Seva Pakhwada, marking PM Modi’s birthday celebrations.
Announced on September 7, the ‘NaMo Yuva Run’, under the leadership of BJYM National President Tejasvi Surya, is a campaign for a drug-free India.
‘Namo Yuva Run’ has been held in many cities across the country. (ANI)
